We had a great first day. We talked about food, life, and what to expect over the next week of on campus classes. We tasted peppers, cheese, bread, olives and onions much to student's hesitation We enjoyed lunch together and discussed American and Italian food identiry and how food is connected to us. We even learned some Italian.
