We kicked off our time together this morning with a short discussion of two books which took us through an exhausting historical journey through Italian food culture. We all agreed that Italian's are passionate about their food and that there is a lot that we all could still learn about this gastronomic wonderland.

Italian Cvisine: A Cultural History by Alberto Capatti and Massimo Montanari
A little more class time considering the variety of influences on our perspective and why each of us view the world the way that we do and it was on to BREAD!!!
As if the day was not full already, we hopped in the vans and drove a quick 50-minutes to the Caves of Fairbault for a tour and to sample their delicious cheese.
